Cancellation Policy

Review Policy Document: Class, Workshop & Event Policies (Happy Accidents Art Studio & ALT Candle Co) 1. Registration & Payment • Pre-registration is required for all classes, workshops, and events. • Your spot is confirmed only after full payment is received. • Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy If you cancel: • 7+ days before start date = Full refund or credit toward a future class/event. • 3–7 days before start date = Credit toward a future class/event only (no cash refunds). • Less than 72 hours before start date = No refund or credit. • No-shows receive no refund or credit. If we cancel: • You will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date if the class/event is canceled due to low enrollment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. 3. Transfers & Make-Ups • Registrations are non-transferable to another person unless approved in advance. • Make-up sessions are not guaranteed but may be offered if space allows. 4. Age Requirements • Age guidelines are listed for each class/event. Please register for the appropriate age group. • For minors, a parent/guardian must complete registration and provide emergency contact information. 5. Conduct & Safety • Respectful behavior is required toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants. • We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe without refund. • For children’s classes, emergency contact info must be accurate and current. 6. Materials & Finished Work • Unless noted otherwise, all materials are included in the class fee. • Finished pieces (e.g., ceramics) will be ready for pick-up within the timeframe stated in class. • We are not responsible for items left unclaimed after 30 days. 7. Photography & Media • We may take photos/videos during classes/events for promotional purposes. • By registering, you grant permission for your image (or your child’s) and artwork to be used unless you notify us in writing beforehand. 8. ALT Candle Co-Specific Notes • Candle-making involves scented oils; please be aware if you have fragrance sensitivities. • Unless otherwise stated, candles are ready to take home 1.5-2 hrs. after the workshop. • We are not responsible for damage to candles after you leave the premises. • Candles must be used appropriately and according to the candle care instructions card.
